VBulletin processes the sigs at the same time it does the posts - so if you want to add a url - just put [ur.l=http://www...]text to display on screen[/ur.l] <- minus the periods between the "r" and "l" of course. I had to add those to prevent vBulletin from processing the screen.
All the stuff you can do in your post, such as quotes, colors, bold, etc - you can do in your sig. Don't know if this is what you were looking for - but hope it helped. I think entmoot has HTML code capabilites turned off - which makes sense. People can screw up the layout if they don't code the HTML properly - or they can even screw up the layout on purpose if they were able to embed HTML into their posts and sigs.

If you check my signature as of Feb 9th there is a link to Decipher
but on my screen at least it is not a link I ASSUMED it is because the HTML is turned off but I could be wrong.

To do decipher - I would just say... [ur.l=http://www.decipher.com]decipher.com[/ur.l] in your sig - which will come out as - decipher.com I know that www.decipher.com should work as should http://www.deciper.com. EDIT After doing some experimenting I see why it's not being converted over. When you post a message - it's going through a function that actually PUTS the [ur.l]...[/ur.l] code between the URL - BEFORE it saves your post to the database. When you create your sig - it is NOT going through this function. The only way to have an actual link appear in your sig AS A LINK is to include the [ur.l]...[/ur.l] manually. The computer will automatially do it for posts - but not for your sig. An easy way to see this work is to post a message with a link - WITHOUT using the [ur.l]...[/ur.l] tags. Then edit the message - you will now see that the link is surrounded by the [ur.l]..[ur.l]. If you try the same thing with your sig - the [ur.l]...[/ur.l] tags will NOT be put in. By the way - the left handside panel that contains your location, avatar, title, etc - doesn't get processed by the function that translates the [ur.l]...[/ur.l] tag. I had tried it a while ago - because I was going to make Plainsboro into a link to point to Plainsboro's home page - but that didn't work.
