Hitch smich
I have read the hitchikers guide to the galaxy, or whqtever it's called and I can ultimatily say that it was probably the "worst book in the world"!
It prayed off true works of art, H.G Wells and his comparitraites would turn over in their graves if they where alive to read it.

*cough*no sense of humor*cough*
Just kidding, different tastes for different people. I am interested, however, in why you despise the book so much, other than its parody of other authors.

Dont you think you should read the other books in the series ? - after all they may as ' bad ' and deserve the honour of ' worst book ever '

I have heard lots of people talking about this book. I'm really interested, but I can't find it in any library near my home.

really? You dont like hitchhikers?
I like it! Its a good book but nothing to get amazingly hipes up about. Terry P is, i think, better. But still, Marvin the robot was genius, or was it Melvin? hmmm, i'm starting to have good memories about that book. I may have to reread.

My goodness, how could you possibly find HHGTTG anything short of amazing?
Well, I suppose that sort of satirical humour, plus the deep philosophical basis underneath, just don't blow over with everyone...

I thought it was really funny, but a bit too complicated for me. It was great at the beginning, but it kept going on and on... It was a while ago that I read it though, maybe I should try again.

Back in 1971, Douglas lay drunk in a field in Innsbruck, Austria, thinking about the galaxy and how you might find your way around it. His solution, the 'Guide',
