some info about the awakening of the elves and the chaining of melkor which it seem like old elves like cirdan could be over 15,000 years old at the time of LOTR

According to the info in the 'Annals of Aman', IF Cirdan was one of the original Elves who awoke at Cuivienen (and in all likelyhood he was _not_) then at the time of the War of the Ring he would be about 11400 years old (Elves awake in 1050, the Tree's are destroyed in 1495, thus 445 times 9.6=4272+7050 for the first Three Ages of the Sun= over 11300 years. The numbers given above are approximations.
