Nah. I just always find myself extremely hyper...not my true personality whatsoever. (I think that's the correct spelling.) And yes, I'm always a spelling-grammar freak. But I don't think anyone views you as rude, Tesseract...just...energetic.

I think that you have to and should be able to say what you feel in person or on a message board. Sometimes you will not see eye to eye with people or they with you. That's life. How you express your disagreements is how you will come across as nice, rude or like myself, maybe opinionated and stern. I can't say that I haven't ever been angered at another poster, or post that another has made, but I think you certainly have the right to speak your mind without say, profanity or arrogance, athough someone may mistake your disagreement for the later, when you are actually just being you and trying to get your point across. We all have our own personalities, and our own ways to express ourselves. That isn't rude, but I suppose that it could be taken as such although it isn't meant to be. We may perform differently on a message board than we do in person, but there are pieces of the real you in every post I think.

well, think about it. None of the other members are ever going to see each other in real life, unless they knew each other already, right? So, i think one can bemuch more candid here than anyone else. I th ink you're cool , tess!! i love everyone on this board! (platonically )

Aww...that was nice, Darkhalycon...thanks!
I'd personally be kind of embarrased to meet anyone on this board face to face. I have these mental images of everyone in my head. If I ever was to see them for real, they would probably look ALOT different than my head-pictures. And it's fun not knowing who you're talking to once in a while. It requres imagination, which I happen to have a LOT of!

FYI....in the depths of this forum is a thread where people posted pictures of themselves.
If anyone is interested in meeting anyone on this board, you can do it Dec. 28-30 (do I have those dates right?) at EntCon 2001 in New Jersey. It is kinda freaky thinking about meeting people face to face, but at the same time I have an insatiable curiosity. |

Its hard for me to feel emotional on a message board since you don't know what tone someone is saying the post in (which causes a lot of misunderstandings.)

Well after much searching I found the thread, but all the pics have broken links. I guess this was back when everyone was using places like geocities to host their pics. Sorry.
Just curious, why do you NEED to see that thread? |

Oh man, does your mother know that you spell the way you do? Not to be mean or anything, but you should make spelling a priority in your life. Do you notice when a word is misspelled, but don't take the time to look it up? Or do the all the words you write look correct to you? I am really not trying to give you a hard time or embarrass you, but am truely concerned. Spelling is extremely important, IMO.

I think he purposely does it for his personality
I mean just look at his posts in the RPG Forum, purposely spelling words wrong and different for his elven boy character. Oh well, I hope he was doing it purposely...

errrrrrrrrrr...........
well its not that I'm really lazy...... but i do know that i misspell words some times. no i don't do it purpose slewythe (thanks for telling every one that i misspell in the RPG...buddy) lol well i think that part of it is my personality. i feel like I'm moving too slow. I guess I'm sort of impatient. but i like to do things fast. I'm sorry, I'll try to remember to use spell check from now on. P.S. part of it is that i type two fingered and have to look at the keyboard whilst I'm typing. then i forget to look it over to see if i misspelled something. |

I need to see it because I want to see it. And anything I want, I say I need. (Doesn't exactly make sense, does it??)
I used to be homeschooled! But I started school this year...there are 6 other kids in my family, and it was getting pretty difficult for my mom to teach the ABC's and algebra at the same time. So we decided I should go to high school this year. Anyway. Spelling is kind of important, Tesseract, but it's not the most important thing on earth. Just don't enter spelling bees!

Hey I type two fingered and I look at the board too! Now I KNOW I'm not alone when it comes to lousey typing skills.
And hey your spellings getting better ever since you joined the Board Tess. I've been homeschooled for almost all of my life, I stopped in 1 Grade and I'm coming out of Homeschooling in Collage so I'm goin all the way through although I want to get a class in Liturature and writing(English right?) maybe in Music.
