help with mIRC
Is anyone in the moot familiar with mIRC, specifically the one in theonering.net? Since I am apparently unable to download ICQ, I thought that I would try this other one in the hopes that some of you might be out there and feel like a chat. Now I cannot seem to make the dratted thing work to save my life and no one at TOR can be bothered to give me any help and I am beginning to feel that it is not worth the bother. Any ideas? I would really like to chat but I seem doomed to be unallowed.

Re: help with mIRC
Can you get AOL Instant Messenger either? A lot of us have that.
What's your problem with mIRC? I haven't been on it in awhile but I know how to work it. |

Re: help with mIRC
well, I figured it out now, but I still have no idea what I was doing wrong or exactly what fixed it.
I just don't like aol and I figure it would be sorta hypocritical for me to use it and diss it at the same time, lol |

Umm...I thought it was because your 'puter sucks. Remember how it would crash or something when you tried to use ICQ??

Re: help with mIRC
Everyone hates AOL. It's not hypocritical to use Instant Messenger at all. It's really quite useful. ICQ and Netscape and now Time Warner are owned by AOL too, so it's really hard to avoid their products
You will have to go to www.aol.com to get the program, but after that it really isn't AOL at all |
