hey UKers - whats up with the YORKIE bar?
The Nestle chocolate bar, "Yorkie," found in the UK is very bizzare.
The "O" in Yorkie has a woman in the O with a line through her. (symbolizing no girls) It says on the front "It's NOT for girls!" On the back it says, "Do NOT feed the birds!" I'm guessing that birds is slang for girls. What is up with this? Is it a big inside joke, is it discrimination, do girls like buying "forbidden chocolate" ? ???? ??

Haha, that's funny!
Sexist or not, this must make good advertising. It targets men who want to be manly and women who want to be rebellious

Yes, big joke, succeeds in looking ironic to people who might be offended at the same time as looking funny to lads/jocks. probably quite a good ad campaign.

Reverse psychology works. Also, it's meant to remind you that Yorkie is a big, chunky chocolate bar, and therefore reassuring to the fragile male ego...

Pffft, as if there ever can be a chocolate that is not meant to be eaten by women. Rediculous.

I know, as IF! They think they need fancy psychological marketing ploys to attract us to a chocolate bar? Puh-LEEZE.
Speaking of chocolate, there's this amazing chocolate bar I love to buy from Trader Joe's. It's the silkiest, smoothest chocolate bar, i just love it. Last night I bought one with hazelnuts in it, oh, GOD it was yummy with my coffee this morning!!! Here's a tiny pic -
