Just a quick question.
Is there an audio book(cd or tape)of the Silmarillion that exists? And if so where can I buy it? any info ...hence my name you should now why I am asking this question

I believe I've seen it offered on Amazon, BooksAMillion, Barnes and Noble, and Borders. You can probably also get it at Yahoo! (I don't know the direct URL for their book store) and at Xenite.Org Books.
That last one, btw, is my own online bookstore (and now everyone rushes over to Vstore to open their own online store). *sigh* |

Thanks, I've heard that listening to the audio of the Silmarillion is better avenue to take then reading it. Too many names you have to have to figure out. Is there a list of where I can get the pronunciations?

I didn't know you had a bookstore Michael!
Newbie, most editions of the Silmarillion (i.e. all of them that I know of) have a note on pronunciation in the back, but it's not as complete as the superb guide you will find in the Appendices to the Lord of the Rings. |
